Why it might work for you – or not
The onsen experience was delightful, especially the private outdoor hot spring. The staff's hospitality and the exquisite kaiseki dining truly enhanced our stay.
The rooms showed some signs of age, particularly the bathroom fixtures, which could detract from the overall experience.

A stunning view and serene stay
Woke up to breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji from our private onsen. The staff was exceptionally warm and the food was a culinary delight.
The bathroom felt a bit dated and could use some renovations. Some noise broke the otherwise tranquil atmosphere.

Incredible Experience with Delicious Kaiseki Cuisine
Our stay was simply amazing! The ryokan had a beautifully traditional atmosphere, and the onsen experience was incredibly relaxing. Each meal, especially the multi-course kaiseki dinner served in our room, was a delight both in presentation and taste. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, including arranging an early breakfast for us. The only downside was that the bathrooms felt a bit dated, but it didn't detract much from our overall enjoyment.

Our group had an unforgettable vacation! The private hot spring and dining experiences were top-notch. We visited the public bath and enjoyed the beautiful gardens. Just a heads up for future guests, the location can be tricky to get to, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, we highly recommend this place for a fun getaway with friends!
One downside was the noise at night. you could hear other guests walking around, which was surprising for the price we paid. It didn't ruin our experience, but it was noticeable.

The stunning traditional design of the room, complete with a private onsen overlooking a beautiful bamboo garden, truly captured the essence of tranquility. The meticulously presented seasonal dishes during dinner and breakfast were a highlight, showcasing the exceptional culinary skills at this location. However, the dated bathrooms detracted slightly from the overall experience, and there was noticeable street noise that disrupted the peaceful ambiance at times. The staff's attentiveness was commendable, though I faced some challenges with communication regarding storing bags post-checkout.
